The A-Brands Analytics Analyst is accountable to A-Brands Teams for all aspects of data needed for negotiation prep and business reporting. Focused on building the tools to unlock data and insights that are geared to develop strategies/tactics to maximize scale and optimize our leverage points with CPGs. Ownership and accountability of reporting timelines and targets. The role requires leadership, problem solving skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally with teams across the organization. Responsible for all aspects of Center Store Sourcing analytics and financial insights. Drive identification of opportunities related to key KPI's (Save For Our Customer, Trade Rates, and Trade Dollars). Support key business initiatives (e.g. Cost negotiations, RFPs, value capture and any evolutions of our negotiation processes) with tools and processes designed to deliver targeted financial results. Serve as key business partner on long-range planning, emerging business opportunities and market trends (share gains/gaps, etc.).
***Our flexible/ hybrid work schedule includes 3 in-person days at one of our core locations and 2 remote days. Our core office locations include Salisbury, NC, Quincy, MA, Carlisle, PA, Scarborough, ME, Hyattsville, MD
Essential job functions:
  • Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans that outline project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines
  • Project Management: Oversight of and management to deliverable timelines for key project tools (e.g. data & insights supporting Omni Reviews, Commercial Planning and Negotiations, scaled activities, etc).
  • Strategic Planning: Enable the strategic direction by providing reporting tools to drive collaboration across ADUSA to maximize size and scale efforts
  • Performance Excellence: Deliver consistent, high-quality work. Driving not only analytical excellence, but subject matter expertise and problem-solving abilities, contributing to the success of center store merchandising across the company.
  • Trusted Thought Partner: Serve as peer to A-Brands Sourcing Analysts as teams work to develop leverage points/opportunities to leverage size and scale - with ability to see across all ADUSA, not just the unique GLB's. Seen as subject matter expert for data & financials across Center Store categories and key vendors.
  • Develop and Deliver Insightful Negotiation Themes: Synthesize data for Fact Packs/Omni Decks to yield insights/advanced analytical support to category teams. Through data analysis, identify opportunities and champion leverage for growth, investment optimization and savings.
  • Sharing Best Practices: Train and upskill/on-board new A Brands associates. Transfer knowledge and expertise to other team members.
  • System Expertise: Leverage all systems (DSS, PowerBI, Circana, etc) efficiently and effectively to identify opportunities and insights to advance the financial results of ADUSA.
  • Process Improvement: Continue to refine our Ways of Working in service of pushing organization to think differently about how to engage the CPG's to optimize our outcomes. Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and productivity within own team and broader Sourcing organization.
  • Personal Development & Continuous Learning: Maintain Individual Development Plan, participate in continuous learning and training opportunities as business needs dictate

Qualifications:
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis until the end of their appointment
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and related work experience.
  • 6+ years of combined experience related to data & analytics.
  • Mastery of financial components of our business (e.g P&L and the implications of Sourcing
  • Advanced proficiency in system tools (DSS, PowerBI, Circana, etc)
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, etc.), with the ability to utilize advanced functions and features effectively
  • Project Management/Facilitation
  • Change Management

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 6+ years of related Project Management, Sourcing, Negotiating, Category, or vendor management experience (preferred) Presentation skills (both developing & delivering)
  • Demonstrated facilitation skills over multiple media types (video conferences, TEAMS, Skype, conference calls, in-person meetings, etc.) with varying size groups (typically 5-25)
  • Conflict management skills & general knowledge of industry and suppliers
ME/NC/PA/SC Salary Range: $92,640 - $138,960
IL/MA/MD/NY Salary Range: $106,480- $159,720
Actual compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on their unique qualifications and experience, internal equity, and market conditions. Final compensation decisions will be made in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
