Job Title: Analyst, Data Analytics and Insights
The Purpose of the Role.
This role is part of the Analytics Research & Data (ARD) business unit. As a Lead, you will combine strong technical expertise with a deep understanding of the business to enable data‑driven decision‑making at Fidelity. Your insights will directly shape strategic initiatives, influence key business outcomes, and support long‑term growth.

- Partner closely with business stakeholders to develop analytical insights that inform, optimize, and influence business strategy.
- Analyze complex datasets to uncover the “why” behind trends and patterns, translating findings into actionable recommendations that drive informed decision‑making.

- Strong proficiency in SQL and Snowflake for data extraction, analysis, and validation.
- Expertise in creating compelling, executive‑ready data visualizations using tools such as Power BI and Tableau.
- Ability to tell clear, impactful data stories that surface insights, opportunities, and risks.
- Skilled in translating business questions into testable hypotheses and validating them through experimentation or advanced analytics.
- Demonstrated critical thinking and structured problem‑solving capabilities, with the ability to address the “so what” and “what if,” and recommend decisive actions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex analytical insights clearly and concisely to varied audiences.
- Proven ability to collaborate cross‑functionally, working effectively with diverse teams to align outcomes with organizational and customer goals.
- High curiosity, strong ownership mindset, and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
The Expertise We Are Looking For
- 3.5+ years of relevant analytics experience delivering measurable business impact through data‑driven insights, with advanced SQL proficiency.
- Deep experience in KPI development, reporting, and dashboarding, including executive‑level reporting using Tableau or Power BI.
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Statistics, Finance, or a related STEM field required; MBA or MS preferred.
