Job Description:

The Analyst, Business Strategy, plays a critical role in accelerating BW Packaging’s aftermarket parts growth through data‑driven insight, cross‑functional partnership, and strategic execution. Sitting at the intersection of strategy and operations, this role identifies opportunities, shapes decisions, and turns insights into measurable business impact. Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Growth
  • Identify growth opportunities across product lines, customer segments, and regions through structured analysis.

  • Partner with cross‑functional teams to develop and execute proactive selling strategies.

  • Build competitive intelligence on aftermarket resellers, including pricing models, customer targeting, and market positioning.

  • Identify high‑impact campaigns to regain share and optimize volume.

Data Integrity
  • Ensure accuracy of data used across the BW Packaging parts ecosystem to support correct performance metrics and incentive outcomes.

  • Develop and implement SOPs for aftermarket processes to drive consistency and best practices across the business.

Inventory & Demand Optimization
  • Analyze inventory performance—including slow‑moving and excess stock—and recommend strategies to optimize working capital.

  • Partner with supply chain and procurement teams to align inventory levels with demand forecasts and installed base needs.

Required Qualifications
  • 0–5 years of relevant experience, including internship experience in analytics, business, supply chain, or related fields.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.

  • Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).

  • Passion for leveraging new approaches—including AI—to develop solutions.

  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills
  • Knowledge of Python or R for advanced analytics.

  • Experience with ERP systems and data governance processes.

  • Experience in aftermarket parts or manufacturing environments.

  • Understanding of pricing strategy, margin analysis, and value optimization.

Work Environment & Travel
  • Primarily in‑office role based in St. Louis, MO.

  • Candidates must be local to St. Louis, MO.

  • Travel requirements are up to 25%, depending on business needs.
