PRIMARY FUNCTIONS AND ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Ares Management is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented individual for a full-time role in its Finance and Accounting department located in our new Mumbai office.
Ares Management Corporation is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Corporate Accounting department. This individual will work closely with team members in the Los Angeles office to support key billing functions for the Company. Responsibilities include:
•Processing billing to Ares funds for pass through expenses•Processing billing to Ares portfolio companies
•Review of cash reconciliations and application of cash to invoices
•Preparing expense journals for irrecoverable amounts
•Preparing credit memos and debit memos as required
•Supporting fund accounting reviews of invoices including pulling support to substantiate allocations and answering queries
•Preparation of aging reports for management review
•Escalation of aged balances to management
•Reconciliations of various receivables accounts including investigating and resolving breaks in reconciliations
•Assisting in ad hoc projects and tasks as directed by management
QUALIFICATIONS
•In addition to having a Bachelor’s degree, the ideal candidate will have a background in Financial Services with 1+ years of Accounting Experience
•Financial Markets accounting experience and proficiency in U.S. GAAP desired
•Experience with Oracle Fusion a plus
