Analyst – Advanced Analytics, GIC SC Analytics

OVERVIEW

You will use advanced analytics to help supply chain teams make better decisions across manufacturing and distribution network design, sourcing, inventory, and capacity. You will build and analyze optimization, simulation, and other analytical models, translate complex results into practical recommendations, and work with global and India supply chain partners to deliver business value. This is an opportunity to contribute to strategic projects, capability development, and continuous improvement within the supply chain analytics team. This role requires you to operate in 1.30 pm to 10.30 pm shift.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Translate business questions into analytical problem statements, solution approaches, and measurable success criteria.
• Gather, validate, clean, and analyze data; identify data issues and root causes before modeling.
• Build, refresh, and improve optimization, simulation, predictive, or statistical models to evaluate supply chain opportunities.
• Run what-if scenarios and compare sourcing, production, distribution, inventory, and capacity alternatives.
• Interpret model outputs and communicate clear, quantitative recommendations to business leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Support solution implementation, transition, documentation, training, and ongoing governance.
• Contribute to new capability development, process improvements, testing, knowledge sharing, and team learning.
• Working knowledge of end-to-end supply chain processes, with the ability to translate business problems into analytical solutions using at least one of the following optimization, statistics, predictive analytics, or simulation. Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, statistics, mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
• Experience: 1+years or more years of experience in supply chain analytics, operations research, data analytics, or a related area.
• Technical Skills: Experience building analytical models or solutions using tools such as Python, R, SQL, Excel-based macros, or comparable software.
• Soft Skills: Self-driven, adaptable, accountable, and comfortable collaborating across functions and locations.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Master’s degree in supply chain, operations research, industrial engineering, statistics, mathematics, computer science, or a related field.
• Professional certification such as APICS, Certified Supply Chain Professional, Certified in Planning and Inventory Management, Six Sigma, or a comparable credential.
