Resumen
The Financial Analyst (LATAC) is responsible for providing Financial Analysis and Accounting Services through Latin America and the Caribbean, for both the Commercial and Operations sides of the business. The primary purpose of the role is to provide Financial Planning, Reporting and Analysis to help the company to achieve Financial Objectives (both short term and for the 5-year Long Range Plan). This involves preparation of accounting information that complies with accounting principles (IFRS and USGAAP), executing month-end processes and providing reporting that provide transparency of performance to drive decision making. In addition, this role plays a key role in providing accurate financial planning and forecasting information for the LATAC division. This role requires an Accounting or Finance degree and a solid understanding of financial processes and interacts with multiple stakeholders within Constellation Brands including; the Commercial Team (Sales & Marketing), The Operations Team (Manufacturing & Supply Chain), Global Accounting, International and US Commercial Finance; US Operations and Group Financial Planning & Reporting. This role reports directly to the Finance Senior Manager (also based in Guadalajara).
Responsabilidades
1. Accurate and timely completion of Month End Close including accruals and reporting aligned with company accounting policy as well as GAAP and SOX regulations. Support the broader Finance Function (International and Global Finance) to provide quality information, the subsequent creation and analysis of the financial statements. This will include maintaining monthly accruals and forecasts in core Financial Systems (currently SAP and OneStream).
2. Provide financial analysis to support delivery of business goals for Net Sales, EBIT and Cashflow. This includes Margin Analysis, COGS Analysis, Marketing and SG&A ROI.
3. Provide accurate and timely financial information and analysis to the Commercial and Operations teams on the Finance Statements, Cost and Profit Centers as well as Sales Performance Analysis for both Brand and Channel. Ensure material variances reviewed and signed off by appropriate leader and the Senior Finance Manager based on the delegate levels of authority.
4. Build constructive and mutually beneficial working relationships with members of the Commercial Team (Sales & Marketing), Operation Team (Manufacturing & Supply Chain), Global Business Services (GBS), International Commercial Finance Team and other Internal Stakeholders (P&C, IT, Legal).
5. Support the Finance Senior Manager in evaluating financial processes to recommend improvement opportunities, best practices, and help improve the accuracy and efficiency of these processes.
6. Maintain reconciliations of key GL Accounts to help ensure Financial Statement accuracy.
