AlphaPrism AI is an early-stage startup based in California, dedicated to building a cutting-edge AI-powered analytics and data intelligence platform. We are looking for a Senior Back-End Engineer (Full-Stack) with a strong background in Python, ML/GenAI infrastructure, and distributed systems. As an early hire, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and scaling our core back-end services, APIs, and ML/GenAI model deployment pipelines. You should have deep experience in architecting robust, modern, scalable, and secure Python-based solutions while working closely with early cross-functional teams.

• Architect and develop scalable back-end Python-based services and APIs for ML/GenAI applications.
• Optimize and deploy ML models in production environments with a focus on efficiency and performance.
• Design and implement containerized solutions using Docker and Kubernetes for scalable deployments.
• Develop and maintain cloud-native infrastructure on AWS/GCP/Azure.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and security best practices for reliable production systems.
• Work closely with front-end engineers, ML researchers, and product teams.
• Optimize database performance and work with NoSQL and SQL databases for handling large-scale data processing.
• Participate in code reviews, mentoring, and knowledge sharing with the team.

• Fluent written and spoken English language skills.

• 7+ years of professional experience in Python development (FastAPI, Flask, Django, etc.).
• Deep experience working with Langchain.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Machine Learning (ML) and Generative AI (LLMs, embeddings, vector databases, fine-tuning and distillation of models, etc.).
• AI agent development & AI agent frameworks
• Hands-on experience in running modern GenAI applications in production
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes for scalable microservices.
• Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and cloud-native development.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools for streamlined deployment processes.
• Deep knowledge of distributed systems and Python data processing frameworks.
• Strong understanding of API design and RESTful/GraphQL services.
• Proficiency in working with databases, including PostgreSQL, Redis, and vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate).
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, autonomy-biased startup environment.

• Experience with MLOps and tools like MLflow, Kubeflow, etc.
• Familiarity with LLM deployment frameworks such as Hugging Face, LlamaIndex, or OpenAI’s API.
• Understanding of security best practices in ML and cloud-based systems.
• Experience in high-performance computing (HPC) and GPU optimization (CUDA, TensorRT, etc.).
• Prior experience in a startup or fast-moving tech environment.
