Almanac Realty Investors, a business unit of Neuberger Berman, is a leading provider of growth capital to public and private real estate companies. Almanac’s differentiated strategy of making platform-level investments in real estate companies will require the analyst to understand valuations, business plans, and transaction rationale at the property level as well as understand and analyze corporate finance / structuring considerations.
Summary:
We are seeking highly motivated individuals to intern within our investment team. Our goal is to further deepen our research resources and position our team to build upon our long-term track record of performance. This internship provides an opportunity to work with a leading real estate private equity platform in a fast-paced environment with constant interaction with senior members of the team.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to live deals, advance investment analysis, and synthesize findings
- Preparing internal and external memoranda
- Conducting due diligence on new investments
- Participate in special projects around real estate research, Almanac portfolio companies, and technology / sustainability research
- Supporting fund marketing and existing client requests
Qualifications:
- Seeking a degree in Business, Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics or related fields
- December 2027 or Spring 2028 expected graduates
- Technical foundations in corporate finance, accounting, and real estate analysis
- Analytical and detail-oriented individual with a great work ethic, deep intellectual curiosity, affable and humble personality
- Quantitative abilities, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong judgment, critical thinking, and writing skills; ability to articulate and present ideas effectively both orally and in written form
- Ability to show initiative and creativity in approach to problem solving; demonstrated experience conducting research and interacting with others to develop solutions
- Minimum GPA of 3.5

The hourly rate for this role is $40. This is the hourly rate we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.
