As the Allvue Systems Lead, you will serve as Petra’s in-house expert on the Allvue platform, overseeing its configuration, optimization, and continuous enhancement across our fund administration practice. These technical systems lead role bridges systems and operations, combining deep fund accounting expertise with hands-on platform knowledge. You will lead cross-functional initiatives to scale and automate our systems infrastructure and support the onboarding of clients with diverse and complex fund structures. Ideal candidates bring direct experience working with Allvue Fund NAV and CRM at a large GP, across multiple fund launches and iterations, or have worked directly for Allvue in a technical or implementation capacity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the strategic development, configuration, and maintenance of the Allvue platform within Petra
- Drive efficiency through automation of accounting workflows and reporting deliverables
- Translate operational requirements into scalable, system-driven solutions
- Manage system upgrades, hotfix testing, and production deployments
- Partner with Accounting, Tax, Investor Relations, and Client Service teams to resolve complex system issues
- Serve as the primary liaison to Allvue for issue resolution and roadmap planning
- Prepare functional requirements and guide development teams in building platform enhancements
- Deliver user training and develop internal documentation for system best practices
- Support client onboarding across Petra platforms, tailoring solutions to fund-specific needs
What You’ll Need:
- Deep expertise with the Allvue platform, with experience spanning multiple implementations or fund launches
- 8- 15 years in fund administration or at a large GP with significant Allvue utilization
- Strong understanding of private equity, credit and/or hybrid fund structures
- Proven track record of translating operational complexity into technical system solutions
- Hands-on experience collaborating with software vendors and internal tech teams
- Prior fund accounting experience highly preferred
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Salary Range
At Petra Funds Group, we are committed to transparency and equity in our hiring practices. The compensation range for this position is $146,000 – $219,000 per year. This range represents the base salary only. Actual pay will depend on factors such as qualifications, experience, and skills.
