Role Description: Alliance Marketing Manager, Security & Video Surveillance 


Role Purpose:


We are seeking a high-energy, self-starter to join our Marketing team to help drive solution positioning and marketing activities with alliance partners in the Security & Video Surveillance space. Wasabi hot cloud storage and Wasabi Surveillance Cloud integrates with market leading Video Management Servers, Surveillance Camera Manufacturers and sells through OEMs, distributors and Systems Integrators across the globe. 

 

This person will partner closely with the alliances managers and business development team to help accelerate Wasabi’s Go-to-Market Strategy leveragingpartner solutions as the foundation to drive business together through existing sales channels as well as recruit and activate new partners who have complementary technologies and aligned selling strategies with Wasabi hot cloud storage.

 

This person will own the marketing strategy and execution with a set of key alliance partners and OEMs in the Security and Video Surveillance space. You will define and document joint messaging, manage key co-marketing activities, partner enablement, channel enablement tools and other strategic marketing initiatives. You will communicate the value proposition for the end-customers and channel partners as a key differentiator and growth tool.


The role will report to the Senior Manager, Alliances Marketing. 


All roles are currently work from home or hybrid in the Boston office with the ability to join the team for in person meetings as planned.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with key alliance partners in the Security & Video Surveillance space in support of the full go to market strategy.
  • Work closely with marketing, business development and channel sales stakeholders to facilitate recruitment, onboarding, channel engagement and marketing strategy.
  • Create, execute and report on joint marketing plans with key partners that include activities such as events, training, webinars and content creation including blogs, social media posts, case studies, solution briefs and other key assets.
  • Build relationships with marketing counterparts at key partners.
  • Effectively manage onboarding, launch and sales enablement globally. 
  • Understand the customer journey and discover new opportunities to increase reach to new customers through our channels.
  • Set goals and objectives and report quarterly on joint campaign metrics and ROI.
  • Communicate Wasabi value propositions at sponsored engagements, meetings and events.
  • Have strong presentation skills and ability to represent Wasabi value prop at partner and industry events.
  • Willingness to travel 20-30% as needed in support of demand generation activities and team meetings.
  • Other related projects and programs as needed.

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of marketing, communications, channel and alliances marketing experience.
  • Strong understanding of security and video surveillance industry and key technology players such as Axis, Milestone, Hanwha, Salient and others.
  • Ability to understand and leverage Technology Alliance Partner solutions to educate and enable channel sales teams and create pull through demand.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively with outstanding attention to detail is a must. 
  • Comfortable with a fast-paced remote working environment, so working independently to meet deadlines is important. 
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and be flexible to work in a rapidly changing environment and adapt to various business needs and evolving priorities in the partner ecosystem.
  • Experience with project management tools (Asana), and CRM (Salesforce) and marketing automation (HubSpot) a plus.
  • Willingness to travel 20-30% as needed for in person events and team meetings.
