AIRCREW TRAINING DEVELOPMENT ADVISOR

 

TASK DESCRIPTION:  Under the direction of the Site Manager, the Training Development Advisor to Ahmed Al Jaber Air College (AAJAC), Kuwait Air Force (KAF), shall provide development and improvement of basic aircrew training, collective training, and operational-level air planning.

Shall assist the AAJAC and the KAF in identifying and preparing user requirements for training-related projects. The Training Development Advisor shall assist the KAF in developing training exercises and conducting training to support the development and improvement of collective training and operational-level planning.

 

TASK REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Provide assistance, advice, and technical expertise to Ahmed Al Jaber Air College in developing and implementing a program that meets the KAF’s basic aircrew training requirements.

 

  1. Advise the KAF on the development and implementation of collective training to maximize the future operational capability, and assist the KAF in conducting pilot ground training as required.

 

  1. Advise the KAF on the development and implementation of operational-level air training planning to maximize the future operational capability.

 

  1. Provide advice at meetings and conferences related to the development and implementation of pilot training, in and outside of Kuwait.

 

  1. Provide assistance and advice to Ahmed Al Jaber Air College and the KAF in preparing training regulations, Standard Operating Procedures, and doctrine to ensure effective training and its optimal implementation.

 

  1. Develop, organize, and manage special projects aimed at improving training execution, increasing training opportunities, and standardizing training.

 

 MINIMUM PERSONNEL QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Minimum of 10 years’ experience in aircrew training development.

 

  1. Experience in managing, developing, and implementing pilot training programs.

 

  1. Strong skills and experience in curriculum development and lesson plan design are required to adapt courses to KAF training.

 

  1. Highly proficient in the use of PC word processing programs.

 

  1. A university degree at the bachelor's level or higher.

 

  1. No security clearance is required.

 







Minimum Qualifications/ Requirements:


  1. A university degree at the bachelor's level or higher.
  2. Experience in managing, developing, and implementing training programs.
  3. Experience in preparing User Requirements and in military-related procurement.
  4. Proficiency in             using       word-processing,  database,               graphics,                and         computer presentation software.
  5. Previous military service at the staff officer level, preferably with prior service in the State of Kuwait.

Skills Required

  • At least 10 years of experience in aircrew training development
  • Experience managing, developing, and implementing pilot training programs
  • Strong experience in curriculum development and lesson plan design
  • Proficiency using PC word-processing programs
  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Experience preparing user requirements and in military-related procurement
  • Proficiency using word-processing, database, graphics, and computer presentation software
  • Previous military service at staff officer level
  • Prior service in the State of Kuwait
