About the Job:
We’re looking for an AI Website Specialist who’s passionate about blending creativity, technology, and automation to deliver world-class websites at scale. In this role, you’ll craft and optimize sites for small and medium-sized businesses, leveraging AI to enhance design, content, and efficiency. You’ll take ownership of complex website builds, mentor teammates, and help shape how AI transforms digital production across the web services landscape.

Note:
This role requires working in CST shift hours, from 7:30 PM to 4:30 AM IST, at our Chennai office (Work from Office).

Your Impact: 

As an AI Website Specialist, you’ll work with the Website Services team and cross-functional partners to:

Advanced Website Production & Troubleshooting:

  • Build and maintain websites in WordPress, Website Pro, and other CMS platforms using Vendasta-approved templates and frameworks
  • Handle more complex builds, including customized layouts, advanced formatting, embedded widgets, or e-commerce integrations (e.g., WooCommerce)
  • Troubleshoot layout issues, plugin conflicts, or style inconsistencies using HTML/CSS knowledge
  • Perform rigorous QA before publishing, ensuring cross-browser and mobile responsiveness

AI-Enhanced Workflow Optimization:

  • Customize and refine team-provided AI prompts to improve formatting, content generation, and layout structuring
  • Use AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Jasper, image generators, QA bots) to enhance visual elements, content polish, and build speed
  • Identify workflow bottlenecks and recommend improvements to SOPs or tooling
  • Contribute to the development and documentation of AI best practices for the Website Services team

Client Communication & Ticket Leadership:

  • Lead more complex or high-priority client tickets in Zendesk, including feature requests, layout rebuilds, and escalations
  • Provide clear, solution-oriented communication to clients and collaborate with Account Managers as needed
  • Proactively document and share successful solutions to recurring issues in internal knowledge bases
  • Mentor junior associates on ticket handling, communication tone, and formatting standards

SEO, Analytics & Optimization:

  • Apply on-page SEO best practices, including proper header structures, image optimization, internal linking, and meta formatting
  • Configure and troubleshoot Google Analytics (GA/GA4) integrations and tag manager setups
  • Use AI-assisted dashboards and heatmap tools to analyze user experience and propose content or layout improvements
  • Identify optimization opportunities within content, structure, or CTAs that could impact engagement or conversions

What you bring to the table:
You bring 2+ years of experience building and maintaining websites in platforms such as WordPress, Website Pro, or other CMS environments. You have a strong understanding of site structure, HTML/CSS, and front-end troubleshooting—including resolving layout, plugin, and formatting issues. You’re comfortable delivering polished, responsive websites that meet SEO and accessibility best practices.
You are proficient with AI-powered tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Jasper, Midjourney, QA bots) and use them to enhance content layout, visual design, and workflow efficiency. You’re skilled at refining AI prompts for better outcomes and contributing to process automation that improves quality and scalability. You value precision, consistency, and collaboration while balancing creative problem-solving with technical execution.


Preferred qualifications include:

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Web Development, Design, or a related field (preferred but not required). Experience with Google Analytics (GA/GA4), Tag Manager, and SEO optimization techniques. Familiarity with support and ticketing systems such as Zendesk. Exposure to e-commerce integrations (e.g., WooCommerce) and website performance tracking. Strong communication skills and the ability to mentor peers or share best practices
