Job Summary:
Translate business requirements into technical specifications, create detailed solution design, coordinate construction, installation, configuration and testing of IT systems; and identifies, troubleshoots and resolves system technical issues. works with business owners, architects, technical experts and software vendors on the solution requirements, development, design, configuration, functionality gap resolution, implementation, support, maintenance and enhancement of the applications. Develops foundational knowledge of business processes, technology stacks, and solution lifecycle management.Key Responsibilities:
Assists in technical analysis of potential solutions including evaluating the technical fit and viability of commercial-off-the-shelf products versus custom built solution. Contributes to the determination and documentation of optimum application setup and configuration to meet functional requirements and specifications. Configures and verifies application and system setup and configuration. Gains understanding and learning of application and solution trends and functionality. Provides functional recommendations for assigned applications and systems. Assist in gathering and documenting business, technical, and integration requirements, system workflows, and functional specifications. Support the design and documentation of basic solution components, architecture diagrams, and technical specifications. Contributes to data migration activities by following established procedures. Assists with development, testing and configuration of solutions and systems as needed. Assists in executing assigned test cases and master test plan. Assists in diagnosing and resolving routine technical issues and follows standard operating procedures and escalation paths for issue resolution. Assists in creating high level and detail design of infrastructure OR applications, interfaces, conversions, extensions, reports, and workflows while meeting architecture, security, performance, scalability, and maintainability requirements. Participates in formal design reviews, cybersecurity reviews and code reviews (where applicable) to ensure the detailed design specifications have been understood and coding standards, cybersecurity regulations have been adhered to by the development team(s). Analyzes and revises existing systems and documentation to identify remediation or improvements in the application or infrastructure solution. Provides level 3 support for critical issues.
