We are seeking a talented individual to join our MMC Tech AI and Services Monitoring team at Marsh McLennan. This role will be based in Cluj, Romania.

We will count on you to:

• As a Junior AI Engineer you will work on our internal AI/ML platform called LenAI (based on ChatGPT 4), used across the entire MMC products and services portfolio, and also internally by our colleagues on their day to day activities.
• Writing scalable code using Python programming language where you will build proficiency with Python and basic libraries for machine learning such as scikit-learn and pandas, and expertise in popular Python frameworks
• Testing and debugging applications
• Coordinating with teams to determine application requirements.
• Processing, cleansing, and validating the integrity of data to be used for analysis
• Understanding business objectives and developing models that help to achieve them, along with metrics to track their progress
• Analysing the Machine Learning algorithms that could be used to solve a given problem and ranking them by their success probability where you will build proficiency with a deep learning framework (TensorFlow, Keras), and in applying neural net and BERT models
• Convert AI/ML models into APIs that other developers can use
• Perform statistical analysis and fine-tuning using test results
• Train and retrain systems when necessary
• Extend existing ML libraries and frameworks
• Designing machine-learning systems and self-running artificial intelligence (AI) software to automate predictive models.
• Documenting machine learning processes

What you need to have:

• Good debugging and troubleshooting skills
• Analytical and design capabilities
• Self-starter with excellent organizational and time management skills
• Fast learner, quality conscious and committed to deadlines
• Excellent analytical and effective communication skills both in English and Romanian

What makes you stand out?

• Experience in Artificial Intelligence , Machine Learning and Python (and popular frameworks like Django, Flask or Pyramid)
• Experience working in offshore-onsite delivery teams
