About this opportunity:
We are looking for a highly motivated AI Agent Engineer Intern to join our AI and Innovation team. You will work on designing, developing, and evaluating AI agents powered by Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and agent orchestration frameworks.
This role offers hands-on experience in building enterprise AI solutions that automate workflows, improve knowledge access, and enhance engineering productivity. You will collaborate with AI engineers, software developers, domain experts, and product stakeholders to transform innovative ideas into practical AI applications.
What you will do:
AI Agent Development
- Design, build, and test AI agents using modern agent frameworks such as Semantic Kernel, LangGraph, LangChain, CrewAI, or AutoGen.
- Develop agent workflows that can reason, plan, retrieve information, and perform actions through tools and APIs.
- Implement multi-agent collaboration scenarios for complex problem solving.
LLM Application Engineering.
- Integrate Large Language Models (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, or open-source models) into enterprise applications.
- Design prompts, system instructions, and tool-calling mechanisms to optimize agent performance.
- Evaluate and improve response quality, accuracy, and reliability.
Software Engineering
- Implement backend services and APIs to support agent applications.
- Work with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or enterpri se cloud environments.
- Develop automation scripts and reusable engineering components.
- Testing and EvaluationCreate benchmarks and test cases for agent performance assessment.
- Analyze hallucinations, failures, and edge cases.Improve reliability, safety, and governance compliance.
Research and Innovation
- Stay current with advancements in Generative AI, AI Agents, LLMs, and RAG technologies.
- Prototype and demonstrate innovative AI solutions for real business challenges.
- Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing.
The skills you bring:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in: Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, Data Science, Electrical Engineering or Related technical fields
- Strong programming skills in: Python (preferred), JavaScript/TypeScript, Java or C++ (optional)
- Basic understanding of: Large Language Models (LLMs), Prompt Engineering, REST APIs, Data Structures and Algorithms
- Familiarity with: Git and software development practices, Cloud platforms or container technologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills in English.
Skills Required
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science, AI, Software Engineering, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- Strong programming skills in Python
