As an Agile Test Engineer, you will work closely with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to ensure the quality and reliability of our product. You will be responsible for designing and implementing both functional and non-functional test cases and automating tests within an Agile development environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with development and product teams to understand features, requirements, and user stories, ensuring the testability of the XDR solution.
Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing using tools such as Cypress, Python, and other relevant testing frameworks.
Validate the accuracy, scalability, and performance of the solution, particularly in handling large-scale event data.
Conduct API, integration, and database testing, ensuring seamless integration with other systems and services in the tech stack.
Develop and maintain comprehensive test suites, ensuring high code coverage and identifying potential issues early in the development lifecycle.
Work with AWS cloud services and big data technologies to ensure the solution remains performant and robust.
Implement continuous testing within the CI/CD pipeline, promoting test-driven development and providing quick feedback to developers.
Ensure adherence to Agile practices by actively participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Collaborate with the team to troubleshoot and resolve defects, ensuring issues are addressed promptly.
Continuously identify opportunities to improve test processes, tools, and frameworks.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
3+ years of experience as a Test Engineer in an Agile development environment.
Proven experience as a Test Engineer with a focus on automation testing.
Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks for backend and performance testing.
Experience testing big data solutions and working with distributed data storage technologies.
Familiarity with cloud technologies; AWS knowledge is an advantage.
Experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and ability to write complex database queries for validation.
Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in an Agile environment.
Basic wage component (brutto): from 3000 EUR
* The final basic wage component can be increased accordingly to individual skills and experience of the selected candidate.
* Performance bonus 2 times per year up to 10% of the basic salary paid for the evaluation period(usually 6 months).
