Position Overview
Seeking an experienced Technical Product Owner for our Customer Data Platform Engineering team. This role demands complex problem-solving skills, driving platform adoption and building scalable solutions that empower our engineering teams.
You will be working on several of the largest Technology initiatives for Evernorth℠, targeted at revolutionizing Health Services and Healthcare Delivery system in the United States. The focus of the work is to continue to enhance our market winning capabilities in the pharmacy and PBM space.
As a Technical Product Owner, you will help define and communicate a clear product vision for the Customer Data Platform tools for our CDP teams, maintaining alignment with organizational goals. You will work closely with Engineering, Business Sponsors, and developer experience teams to remove infrastructure complexity, enable security guardrails, accelerate development velocity, and drive consistent incremental improvements.

Responsibilities
- Define and socialize the product vision in alignment with the Customer Data Platform technology strategy
- Use a robust workflow management tool to organize, prioritize and define/refine requirements
- Proficiency in Agile frameworks like Scrum and Kanban, understanding core principles (adaptability, customer focus, iterative delivery, collaboration)
- Demonstrating proficiency in areas like backlog management, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, user stories, and retrospectives
- Develop and maintain a product roadmap based on user feedback, business priorities, and technical feasibility
- Advocate for developer needs and ensure platform solutions are intuitive, scalable and secure
- Collaborate closely with engineering, security, and operations teams to gather requirements and align on top priorities
- Engage with internal development teams to understand pain points and drive adoption of platform capabilities
- Facilitate cross-functional discussions to ensure alignment across teams and initiatives
- Clearly articulate and Translate product strategy into actionable work for engineering teams
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success and inform future iterations
- Prioritize features and enhancements based on impact, effort, and strategic value
- Partner with security and compliance teams to ensure platform tools incorporate security best practices and compliance requirements by design
Qualifications
Required Skills:
- 5 - 8 years of relevant practical experience or combination of education, experience and training
- Experience in a product management, business analyst, or information technology role
- Experience in DevOps process and SDLC with an understanding of automated builds and deployments of code/cloud based processes
- Experience in Java
- Proven ability working with multiple stakeholders and initiatives simultaneously
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a passion for helping our business partners succeed and deliver on corporate/organizational goals
- At least 4 years of hands-on experience with robust workflow management tools e.g. JIRA, or Rally
- An understanding of Data Engineering, SDLC, and designing and building data pipelines and architectures at scale
- Proven ability to collaborate with offshore teams and coordinate across time zones to deliver successful projects
Required Experience & Education:
- 5- 8 Years of Experience
- College degree (Bachelor) in related technical/business areas or equivalent work experience.
