Join our team and help develop and maintain testing and analysis tools for advanced Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) systems, contributing to technologies that enhance vehicle safety and ultimately help save lives.
As an AEB Algorithm Test & Analysis Tool Developer, you’ll work closely with experienced algorithm and infrastructure teams, developing Python-based tools, analyzing vehicle dynamics data, identifying system issues, and driving solutions from investigation to implementation. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated graduate to gain hands-on experience, expand their technical capabilities, and make an impact in a fast-paced environment.
What your job will look like:
- Develop and maintain Python-based testing, monitoring, and analysis tools for AEB algorithms.
- Analyze vehicle dynamics and algorithm performance metrics, including distances, relative speeds, braking times, and TTC.
- Investigate anomalies and system issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement effective solutions.
- Integrate and maintain code within existing development and testing pipelines.
- Work closely with algorithm and infrastructure teams to understand challenges and deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Plan and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment, adapting quickly to changing priorities and real-world challenges.
- Leverage modern AI development tools to accelerate coding, troubleshooting, and problem solving.
All you need is:
- BSc in Computer Science from a leading academic institution, with a strong academic record.
- 2 years experience in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Python and hands-on coding experience.
- Strong mathematical and analytical thinking, with a solid foundation in mathematics and physics.
- Ability to understand existing code and systems and quickly become productive in an established development environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a practical, results-oriented approach.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with experienced technical teams.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to present technical issues clearly and concisely.
- A proactive, curious, and highly motivated mindset, with a willingness to learn, take ownership, and continuously improve.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or LLMs – an advantage.
