What you’ll achieve

As an Advisory Consultant within the Dell Technologies organization, aligned to Consulting Service Delivery, you will provide consultative business and technical delivery services for a range of complex customer-facing consulting engagements, in partnership with Global Pre-Sales, Account Management and Solutioning Teams. Specifically, you will be part of projects deploying, administering and configurating digital transformation software stacks.

Also, as one of the senior technical members of the team, for the Digital Transformation Practice, you will work alongside other Dell badged Consultants, to earn the customer’s trust through competence, technical acumen, consulting expertise, and partnership.

You will:

• Suggesting architecture improvements, recommending process improvements for Infrastructure provisioning automation

• Deploying, automating, maintaining, and managing release automation pipelines, to ensure the faster release of new features to productions systems.

• Pre-production Acceptance Testing to help assure the quality of our products/services, system troubleshooting and problem-solving across platform and application domains, suggesting architecture improvements, recommending process improvements.

• Ensuring critical system security using best in class security solutions, support Sr. Solution Architects in working with Sales, Pre-Sales and Customers in an advisory role, providing competency based solutioning and help towards deal-closures.

• Contribute to the development of customer AIOps & DataOps strategies, while facilitating design discussion around proposed architecture, be responsible for serving as a project lead, drive high quality delivery experience for customers including excellent documentation, oral and presentation skills..

Essential Requirements

• Overall 12+ years of hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet), CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Bamboo), artifact/version control (Git, Nexus), and configuration management across hybrid/multi-cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP).

• Strong business acumen and communication skills for conducting Client-Facing Discussions & Pre-Sales Collaboration, with demonstrated engagement in customer workshops, solution demos and active contributions to RFP/RFI processes alongside Sales/Pre-Sales teams.

• Proficient in scripting (Python, Shell, PowerShell) for building reusable automation frameworks, CMDB discovery mechanisms, and orchestration across VMware vRealize, Foreman, and HashiCorp Vault.

• Proven delivery experience on Kubernetes, Docker and Cloud Foundry, with deep knowledge of container orchestration, service discovery and scalable platform architecture.

• Experience of Agile Methodologies

Desirable Requirements                                                                                             

• Experience in creating customer-focused technical solutions involving Digital Transformation, GenAI and Edge computing, working closely with pre-sales functions.
