Why Harvey

At Harvey, we’re transforming how legal and professional services operate. By combining frontier agentic AI, an enterprise-grade platform, and deep domain expertise, we’re reshaping how critical knowledge work gets done for decades to come.

This is a rare chance to help build a generational company at a true inflection point. We have strong product-market fit and world-class investor support. We’re scaling fast and defining a new category in real time. The work is ambitious, the bar is high, and the opportunity for growth — personal, professional, and financial — is unmatched.

Our team moves fast, takes ownership, and is deeply committed to the mission — operating with intensity, staying close to our customers, and pushing each other for excellence. We live by three values: Decisiveness, Simplicity, and Job's Not Finished. We act quickly on clear judgment over perfect information, we believe simplicity is what scales, and we're never satisfied with where we are. If you want to do the best work of your career alongside people who share that drive, we'd love to build with you.

At Harvey, the future of professional services is being written today — and we’re just getting started.

Role Overview

Harvey is transforming how the world's leading professional services organizations work with AI. Security is fundamental to that mission: our customers include some of the world's largest and most sophisticated enterprises, and they expect Harvey to be a leader not only in AI, but in how AI can be deployed securely.

We're looking for an Advisory CISO based in New York City to serve as a senior security leader at the intersection of our customers, go-to-market organization, and engineering teams.

Reporting directly to Harvey's CISO, you'll represent Harvey's security strategy with CISOs and other technology leaders across the region. You'll partner closely with Sales and Customer Success on strategic opportunities, helping customers understand how Harvey approaches security, AI risk, architecture, and deployment. Just as importantly, you'll bring what you learn from those conversations back into Harvey, working with Security, Product, and Engineering to influence our roadmap and ensure we're solving the security problems that matter most to our customers.

This isn't a traditional sales engineering or compliance role. We're looking for an experienced security leader who can move comfortably between a customer CISO conversation and a technical discussion with Harvey's engineers.

What You'll Do
  • Serve as a trusted security advisor to CISOs, CIOs, and technology leaders at Harvey's customers and prospects across the region.

  • Partner with GTM leadership on strategic opportunities where security, architecture, AI risk, or customer trust are critical to adoption.

  • Work directly with Harvey's Security, Product, Legal and Engineering teams to translate customer requirements and emerging risks into product and security priorities.

  • Develop and communicate Harvey's point of view on securing enterprise AI, including architecture, deployment models, data protection, identity, AI security, and emerging threats.

  • Represent Harvey externally through executive briefings, customer forums, industry events, and security thought leadership.

  • Help Harvey anticipate how regional and industry-specific regulatory, security, and data requirements will shape enterprise AI adoption.

What You Have
  • You have operated as a CISO, Deputy CISO, senior security executive, Field CISO, or similarly senior technical security leader in a sophisticated technology environment. You have enough technical depth to engage credibly with security architects and engineers, but can also advise executives and navigate complex enterprise buying decisions.

  • You've built or operated real security programs and understand how modern software and cloud platforms are secured. Experience with AI security, enterprise SaaS, regulated industries, or complex enterprise technology environments is particularly valuable.

  • Most importantly, you're a builder and advisor. You can establish credibility with a customer, identify what their concerns reveal about the market, and turn those insights into action across GTM, Security, Product, and Engineering.
