Advanced Software Engineer at Relativity develops software and supports a team to apply software engineering best practices to bring high-quality, maintainable, reusable, performant, and scalable software. You will work with your team to help develop and maintain Data Breach Response product.Job Description and Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the implementation of software using the practical application of algorithms, defensive programming, exception handling, fault tolerance, design patterns, and best practices of Object-Oriented Design and Programming such as SOLID.
- Ensure best practices of Test-Driven Design and the use of autonomous frameworks and Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment.
- Propose architecture decisions and development of performant, scalable, and secure cloud native solutions.
- Leverage monitoring and observability to proactively identify and fix problems.
- Specify and analyze non-functional software requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of professional software development experience on commercial-grade systems and applications with JAVA.
- Experience developing scalable solutions in a cloud platform (Azure, AWS, GCP)
- Ability to develop, enhance and troubleshoot cloud DevOps and CI/CD processes and tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Harness, LaunchDarkly)
- Knowledge of NoSQL database systems such as MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch
- Fundamental knowledge of Kubernetes and container-based systems
- Practical aspects of working in Agile software development methodologies (Scrum).
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
- Fluency in English.

This position is eligible for total compensation which includes a competitive base salary, an annual performance bonus, and long-term incentives.
The expected salary range for this role is between following values:
146 000 and 218 000PLNThe final offered salary will be based on several factors, including but not limited to the candidate's depth of experience, skill set, qualifications, and internal pay equity. Hiring at the top end of the range would not be typical, to allow for future meaningful salary growth in this position.
