Hastings Deering is on the hunt for an Administrator to join our purchasing team in Mackay. This is a Permanent full time, Monday to Friday role.
As an Administrator, you will:
Perform administrative tasks for the Parts and Service departments as appropriate and directed by the Business Center Manager
Purchase orders to be written up as and when required.
Perform general administration tasks, e.g. photocopying, scanning, laminating, binding.
Assist with Reception duties, answer, and direct calls both internally and externally professional, promptly, and courteously at all times; particularly when providing reception coverage.
Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers in a friendly and professional manner.
Maintain and update lists on notice boards, including but not limited to, evacuation maps and organisational charts.
Organise travel, meetings and booking rooms and catering as required.
Report task status, including forecast outcomes with relation to time, cost, scope, and quality, when required.
Maintain records of work-in-progress and communications with internal and external customers
Other office support & ad hoc duties as requested.

About You
A successful teammate will have experience in:
Qualifications in Business Office Administration is desirable but not essential.
Confident in handily large volumes of calls through the switch
Greeting customer directly at the front counter
Experienced in MS word, excel, power point, share point and Microsoft Dynamics AX
Impeccable attention to detail in your work
Ability to work with minimal supervision while providing exceptional service to our internal and external customers.
