Job Title: Administrative Assistant, Full-time (37.5 hrs./wk.)
Reports to: Business Manager/Pastor

Overview
Saint Katharine Drexel Parish is seeking a full time Administrative Assistant to assist with administrative and communications professional support.
Job Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain up-to-date filing systems, both hard copy and electronic.
- Compose, proof, correct and distribute letters, memos, forms, documents, emails, faxes and bulletins.
- Order office supplies and assist in ordering supplies needed for all special activities.
- Schedule volunteers for offices and various ministries in the parish.
- Maintain a calendar of office and liturgical events, staff vacations, etc.
- Schedule and maintain the Pastoral Ministry program for the parish, including recruiting pastoral ministers and assuring they are trained and approved through Virtus.
- Participate in special parish events (liturgical, social, administrative, etc.), taking a lead when so instructed by the pastor (administrator)
- Work with pastor/business manager on projects and communications.
- Other duties as assigned
- Minimum of High school diploma or equivalent required, Associates degree preferred.
- Experience as Administrative Assistant or Office Assistant required.
- Previous church employment/experience extremely helpful.
- Excellent communications skills both written and oral.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite.
- Strong organization skills.
- Knowledge of website maintenance, Parishsoft, volgistics and flocknote a plus.
