WORK ASSIGNMENT DETAILS

This is a unique opportunity to join the Waukesha County Corporation Counsel’s office as a Receptionist-Administrative Assistant. This full-time position offers a consistent Monday through Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm schedule, with no weekends or holidays.

The selected candidate will work collaboratively as part of a 42-member team serving Waukesha County in a variety of important ways.

Typical responsibilities include greeting visitors, answering and directing calls, electronically preparing, organizing, and maintaining records, reports and files, and interacting regularly with members of the public and internal team members in a professional office environment. 

Starting pay between $21.03 to $24.15 per hr.  Full salary range $21.03 to $27.75 per hr.

Fingerprinting and background check requirement

Pursuant to Internal Revenue Service (IRS) 1075 Publication, Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) fingerprints and criminal background checks are a component and requirement for access to Federal Tax Information (FTI). New hires must be successfully adjudicated before a start date is established and prior to granting access to FTI.

Minimum Training & Experience Requirements
1.    High School Diploma or GED.
