Position Summary
We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our consulting and design team. In this role, you will support managers and engineering staff with administrative and client support needs. You will also generate reports and client billings, and maintain accurate records and files in accordance with departmental standards. The ideal candidate has a strong customer service focus and excellent administrative skills.
Location: This role is based in the Alexandria, VA office.
- Knowledge of basic office machinery required
- Maintain reports, files, archive folders, records
- Maintain and draft reports as needed
- Maintain computer software databases
- Assist and maintain cost workups and billing needs as required
- Communicate professionally with client as needed
- Coordinate work documentation with other offices/facilities

- Must have experience in A/P and A/R; or proficient understanding of billing and vendor payment methods

- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of experience providing administrative support (in a professional services environment is preferred)
- Proficient capabilities in administrative and clerical processes and tools including written correspondence and communication
- Proficiency maintaining electronic folders and files including secure file sharing tools.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite with high proficiency using Excel. Strong mathematical aptitude is preferred
- Demonstrated track record for providing exceptional customer service.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
