About This Opportunity  

We are seeking an experienced, organised and customer-focused Administration Assistant to support the effective and efficient operation of the Institute for Teaching and Learning Innovation.

As a key member of the team, you'll contribute to the efficient operation of the Institute by coordinating office activities, supporting financial processes and providing high-quality administrative support across a diverse range of stakeholders and initiatives.

Key responsibilities will include: 

  • Acting as the first point of contact for staff, visitors and stakeholders, delivering professional administrative support.

  • Coordinating day-to-day office operations, including facilities, records management, shared inboxes and workplace logistics.

  • Supporting procurement and financial administration activities, including purchasing, payments and reconciliations.

  • Organising and coordinating meetings, events, travel, onboarding activities and hospitality requirements.

  • Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, responding to enquiries and ensuring a high standard of customer service.

About You   

  • Completion of a Certificate IV or Diploma with relevant work experience; a Certificate III with extensive relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of experience and education/training.

  • Demonstrated experience providing high-quality administrative support in a busy and customer-focused environment.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and professional administrative support.

  • High level proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, MS Teams and other business systems.

  • Strong organisational, time management and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
