Role Overview:

Could you be our next Outbound Insurance Sales Agent? Globe Life is looking for an Outbound Insurance Sales Agent to join the team!

In this role, you will be responsible for making calls and receiving calls with the intent of up-selling Globe Life Insurance products to existing customers. The Outbound Insurance Sales Agent will provide consultative sales support to match existing customers with the products that best meet their needs. A successful candidate will need to be a sales-driven person skilled at interacting with the public by phone.

This is a remote/work-from-home position.

What You Will Do:

  • Make outbound calls to customers who are eligible for additional coverage.
  • Receive inbound calls from current customers about adding on additional coverage.
  • Be able to explain policy benefits and make proper assessments on decisions from current customers.
  • Complete necessary paperwork when needed
  • Assist with correspondence and error corrections for policy service.

What You Can Bring:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required, some college preferred.
  • Licensed in Life, Accident, and Health Insurance is preferred; however, ability to obtain License is required.
  • 1+ years of customer service experience or 1+ years of a professional environment in a customer service-related atmosphere.
  • Life and Health insurance background and knowledge of insurance operations are desired.
  • Customer service background and good phone skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
  • Excellent alpha and number recognition skills.
  • Demonstrated mathematical abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle high-stress situations calmly and with tact and professionalism.
  • Strong decision-making skills with the ability to analyze situations and make logical conclusions.
  • Proficient with a computer.
  • Ability to multi-function from many different sources.
  • Customer-friendly attitude.
