Acumatica Developer

Work Arrangement / Work Shift: Part-Time: 20 hours per week | Pacific Standard Time (PST) | Remote
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Acumatica Developer/Technical Consultant to design, build, and support customizations within the Acumatica ERP platform. The ideal candidate has hands-on expertise with the Acumatica Customization Project Editor, custom screen development, and reporting tools including Report Designer, Generic Inquiry (GI), and Analytical Reports. This role works closely with functional consultants, project managers, and clients to translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable Acumatica solutions.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Develop and maintain customizations using the Acumatica Customization Project Editor, including custom screens, business logic, and workflows.

• Design and build custom screens tailored to client-specific business processes, ensuring alignment with Acumatica framework best practices.

• Create, modify, and maintain reports using Report Designer, Generic Inquiries (GI), and Analytical Reports to support operational and financial reporting needs.

• Extend and customize Acumatica DACs (Data Access Classes), Graphs (BLC), and BQL queries as needed to support custom functionality.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues related to existing customizations and integrations.

• Collaborate with functional consultants to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

• Perform code reviews, testing, and quality assurance on customizations prior to deployment.

• Support version upgrades by ensuring customizations remain compatible with new Acumatica releases.

• Document technical designs, customizations, and configuration changes for internal knowledge base and client reference.

• Provide technical support and guidance to clients and internal teams on Acumatica capabilities and best practices.
  

What You’ll Need:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

• 2+ years of hands-on experience developing on the Acumatica ERP platform.

• Proficiency with the Acumatica Customization Project Editor and custom screen development.

• Strong experience with Report Designer, Generic Inquiries (GI), and Analytical Reports.

• Solid understanding of C#, .NET framework, and object-oriented programming principles.

• Familiarity with Acumatica's framework architecture, including DACs, Graphs (BLC), BQL, and events.

What Will Set You Apart:

• Acumatica certification(s) (e.g., Acumatica Developer Certification).

• Experience with Acumatica integrations (REST/SOAP APIs, third-party connectors).

• Prior experience in an ERP consulting or implementation partner environment.

• Familiarity with Visual Studio, Git/version control, and Azure DevOps or similar tools.

• Experience across multiple Acumatica modules (Financials, Distribution, Manufacturing, CRM).
