Internships will run from mid-May to early August
Interviews and hiring decisions expect to be completed prior to mid-November, with some being completed as early as late September. Qualified candidates must be enrolled at an accredited college or university for Fall term 2027.
Accountabilities:
- Compiling data to be used in actuarial models.
- Calculating rates and performing pricing analysis.
- Assisting in preparation of product filings and/or financial statements.
- Automating and streamlining processes.
- Documenting and compiling assumptions, methodologies and procedures.
- Communicating results, conclusions and recommendations to management.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Pursuit of four-year degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, computer science, finance or other related field required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and effectively meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational and communication skills and the ability to develop effective working relationships.
- Commitment to actuarial exam process and attainment of FSA designation.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, computer programming and/or actuarial modeling software preferable
