About the Role

In this position you will be closely working with global and local stakeholders and leading the sales team to achieve revenue targets and expand market share across the Greater China region (Mainland, Hong Kong, and Taiwan). This role involves developing and implementing effective sales strategies, building strong relationships with key stakeholders, and ensuring the successful promotion of Elsevier health electronic products in Greater China markets. At the end you will lead building trust and loyalty to Elsevier health among GC customers and strengthen Elsevier’s leadership position in the high dynamic health market.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and develop a high-performing eSales team.

  • Drive sales growth, renewals, and profitability across the region.
  • Manage key customer relationships with hospitals, medical institutions, and healthcare stakeholders.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies for major accounts and product portfolios.
  • Expand market presence through new business development and channel management.
  • Collaborate with marketing, customer success, finance, and global stakeholders to achieve commercial objectives.
  • Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitive activity to shape long-term growth strategies.

Key Requirements

  • 8+ years of sales and key account management experience, preferably in digital, subscription, SaaS, or healthcare information solutions.
  • Strong leadership and team management experience.
  • Deep understanding of healthcare, hospital, or medical sales environments in Greater China.
  • Strategic, results-driven, and customer-focused mindset.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Professional proficiency in English.
