Credence has an immediate need for an Acquisition Logistics Manager (Supply Chain Management) at the SME level to support HQ AFMC A4/10 at Wright Patterson AFB, OH. 

The Headquarters Air Force Material Command Directorate of Logistics, Civil Engineering, Force Protection, and Nuclear Integration (HQ AFMC/A4/10) has the AFMC mission responsibility to: shape the workforce and infrastructure to provide logistics, sustainment, and installation support for acquisition logistics, supply management, depot maintenance, and base-level logistics operations, and deliver responsive strategic facility and infrastructure oversight and over-arching direction for all Major Command (MAJCOM) security operations…resulting in war-winning expeditionary capabilities.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below:

  • Assist the Government with management and conduct of enterprise asset management program tasks, which optimizes supply support to the warfighter and its costs.
  • Support development of and provide recommendations for changes to supply policy, including development and maintenance of automated tools, user guides, and handbooks.
  • Assist with tracking and maintaining currency of policy and procedural publications.
  • Conduct procedural reviews on existing materiel management systems and supply chain processes; develop new procedures and recommend changes for inclusion in AF, DoD, and AFMC supply chain and logistics publications.
  • Support the Government with development and implementation of contractor-supported weapon system programs, including integration of peculiar supply support assets for new and modified weapon systems into the AF supply support structure.
  • Assist the Government with ensuring ILS-S objectives are considered on assigned programs and projects.
  • Participate in development of plans to ensure comprehensive consideration of all factors that impact supply chain management.
  • Perform AO support from the standpoint of life cycle cost and assist the Government with ensuring optimal use of resources without degrading operational readiness.
  • Support coordination and integration of all aspects of logistics management to assist in supply chain management activities, program development, and implementation.
  • Assist HQ AFMC/A4/10 in conducting and maintaining the supply chain metrics program, including continuous transformation of performance measurement and reporting to optimize warfighter support.
  • Provide management and technical support services in administering interservice initiatives and the AF Logistics Reassignment program.
  • Evaluate and recommend modifications to interservice supply chain management documentation, including DoD, AF, AFMC, and center-level interservice support plans, policies, instructions, manuals, and guides.
  • Evaluate and recommend modifications to AF Logistics Reassignment supply chain management documentation, including DoD, AF, command-level, and center-level plans, policies, instructions, manuals, and guides, as directed by the Government functional manager.
  • Catalog stock number data in the Federal Logistics Information System.
  • Order, turn in, and requisition at the Standard Base Supply System and Stock Control System.
  • Compute reparable stock levels in wholesale and retail logistics management systems and return unserviceable carcasses to the primary inventory control activity.
  • Identify, recommend, and assist with implementation of Logistics Reassignment business process improvements under the Consumable Item Program and Non-Consumable Item Program.
  • Support Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness efforts, including systems evaluation, procedural and policy recommendations, strategic and policy requirements, technical evaluations of AF legacy logistics financial information systems, and development of functional requirements.
  • Draft requirements documentation, conduct reviews, perform functional research and technical analysis, develop test scenarios, and coordinate with interfacing partners and stakeholders for Accountable Property Systems of Record supporting critical asset management and FIAR compliance.

Requirements

Education, Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Must have an active or current Secret security clearance (or higher), verifiable in the Defense Information System for Security (DISS).
  • Advanced Degree (MA/MS) and ten (10) years of experience in the respective technical/ professional discipline being performed with proper certifications as described in the labor category performance requirements
  • OR BA/BS degree, and twelve (12) years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed with proper certifications as described in the labor category performance requirements
  • OR fifteen (15) years of direct experience with proper certifications as described in the labor category performance requirements.
  • Experience with AF supply chain management acquisition logistics support, including development, support, and performance of logistics management activities.
  • Experience supporting policy, procedures, program planning, implementation, coordination, and analysis within AF supply chain management environments.
  • Knowledge of enterprise supply chain functions, including Nuclear Weapons-Related Materiel, provisioning, cataloging, planning and requirements forecasting, critical asset management, equipment management, airman clothing and individual equipment, materiel management systems, weapon systems support, demilitarization, reclamation, and Joint Service/agency support programs.
  • Comprehensive understanding of AF enterprise supply processes outlined in AFI 23-101, Air Force Materiel Management, and AFMAN 23-122, Materiel Management Procedures.
  • Working-level experience with the Stock Control System (SCS) (D035A/C/K/L), Secondary Item Requirements System (D200A), Distribution Standard System (DSS), and Integrated Logistics System-Supply (ILS-S).
  • Experience applying logistics knowledge of interservice policies and processes to support requisition under Performance-Based Logistics agreement processes.
  • Ability to facilitate integration, communication, coordination, organizational planning, and planning expertise across a broad spectrum of supply chain management disciplines.

Skills Required
