Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Acquiring Project Manager to join our team at Synechron. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in merchant acquiring and project management, with the ability to lead and manage acquiring projects from initiation through completion. Key Responsibilities:

Project Management:

  • Lead and manage acquiring projects from initiation through completion.
  • Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including resource allocation, timelines, and risk management strategies.
  • Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Prepare and present regular project status reports to stakeholders, highlighting key milestones, risks, and issues.
  • Facilitate communication between all project stakeholders to ensure alignment and address any concerns.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in project management.

Collaboration and Coordination:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product development, marketing, sales, and customer support to define project objectives and deliverables.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies throughout the project lifecycle.

Market Research and Analysis:

  • Conduct market research and analysis to inform project decisions and strategies.

Leadership and Guidance:

  • Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, ensuring effective teamwork and communication.

Software Requirements:

  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Trello).
  • Familiarity with merchant acquiring platforms and tools.
  • Knowledge of risk management strategies and tools.

Technical Skills:

Project Management:

  • Strong experience in project management, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
  • Ability to develop detailed project plans and manage resources effectively.

Merchant Acquiring:

  • In-depth knowledge of merchant acquiring processes and platforms.
  • Understanding of industry regulations and compliance requirements.

Experience:

  • 12+ years of proven experience in managing acquiring projects from initiation to completion.
  • Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Background in conducting market research and analysis.

Day-to-Day Activities:

  • Lead and manage acquiring projects, ensuring successful delivery.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans.
  • Monitor project progress and adjust plans as needed.
  • Prepare and present regular project status reports to stakeholders.
  • Facilitate communication between project stakeholders.
  • Conduct market research and analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.

  • Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.
