WE OFFER:  

  • Compensation- $73,900 Fixed Rate   
  • Work Environment:Onsite in Mendota Heights, MN for the first three months of training (5 days per week), followed by a hybrid schedule with 4 days remote thereafter.

Job Description

As the Accounts Receivable Supervisor, you’ll lead the AR team, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, reconciliations, and reporting. This hands-on role combines leadership with operational support and  coaching staff, monitoring workflows, and stepping in as needed. Success requires organization, attention to detail, and the ability to hold a team accountable in a fast-paced, communication-heavy environment across Minnesota and New Mexico.

What You Get To Do: 

  • Lead a team of three AR specialists (with potential to grow to four or five) and provide hands-on coaching and development  
  • Oversee accurate, timely processing of AR transactions and general ledger coding  
  • Monitor weekly data entry tasks to keep the team on track and accountable  
  • Manage month-end close for AR, including reconciliations and reporting  
  • Conduct regular one-on-one check-ins to ensure deadlines are met and projects stay on course  
  • Drive process improvements and implement scalable AR solutions  
  • Build strong partnerships with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders  
  • Attend 17 monthly director meetings in Minnesota and take detailed notes  
  • Maintain thorough documentation of AR processes  
  • Lead or contribute to special projects enhancing AR technology and operations  

Qualifications

MUST HAVE:  

  • Education: High school diploma or GED required. 
  • Experience: 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, including AR expertise  
  • Leadership Management: 2+ years of management experience with coaching and performance oversight  
  • Accounts Receivable & Reconciliation: Accurately manage aging reports, cash applications, denial resolution, payment tracking, and account reconciliations. 
  • Strong 10-Key & Data Accuracy: Fast, accurate numeric entry for billing, cash applications, and payment plans, ensuring precision with large datasets and financial records. 
  • Microsoft 365 & Excel Expertise: Skilled in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint. Able to manage data, run reports, use pivot tables and formulas, and leverage these tools to track collections, analyze accounts, and collaborate effectively. 
  • Accounting & Financial Systems Expertise: Proficient in Microsoft Great Plains (Dynamics GP), Microsoft Dynamics 365,  Sage, Peachtree and Workday. 

NICE TO HAVE:  

  • Certifications: CPA  
  • Education: AA or BS in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 
  • Electronic Payments & Billing Systems: Experience processing ACH and wire transfers, managing reconciliations, and navigating state portals and billing systems such as Therap, Minutes, OnBase, and Workday. 
  • Financial & Billing Tools: Proficient with My Money, E Guardianship, RMF, and similar financial management or tracking platforms. Experienced with room-and-board billing and knowledgeable in Social Security processes
  • Healthcare & Compliance Experience: Knowledge of healthcare, human services, or Medicaid/Medicare operations, including regulatory, payer, and state compliance requirements. 
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Ability to generate reports, analyze trends, and support financial decisions.

  • Organization & Execution: Highly organized and self-motivated; manages multiple priorities, adapts to evolving demands, and consistently delivers accurate, timely results. 
  • Critical Thinking & Problem Solving: Analytical and solutions-oriented, able to resolve complex issues while demonstrating professionalism and emotional intelligence.

Tim and Diane were the live-ins for that first program and they have continued their leadership of the organization since. Through the success of that program Dungarvin has grown to employ approximately 4,000 people who currently provide supports to over 4,712 individuals across 14 states.
