Nosco is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to support day-to-day accounts receivable operations, including billing, cash application, collections, and customer account maintenance. In this role, you will work closely with customers and internal teams to ensure accurate invoicing, timely payment processing, and strong financial data integrity. The position also supports month-end close activities, customer onboarding, sales tax compliance, and other finance-related projects. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, organization, communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
In this role, you will…
- Support daily billing utilizing ERP platform and various customer portals as required. Includes but not limited to, generating and sending out invoices, credits and rebills, pro-forma invoices, ArtFlo, etc.
- Match customer payments (and misc. cash) to the correct outstanding invoices and accounts receivable (AR) records to ensure accurate financial statements, healthy cash flow, and efficient business operation.
- Assist AR Team and Nosco in achieving annual DSO metrics established specific to DSO in days and average over 90.
- Support the achievement of on time delivery of Financials to Holden through assistance in journal entries, account recs and other reporting as needed.
- Utilize Salesforce and other tools to assist AR team with customer onboarding.
- Assist in maintenance of customer resale certificates by state.
- Monitor and maintain AR mailbox.
- Assist with Financial Audit, inventory, WIP Calc processing, reporting, and other departmental tasks as needed.
Success factors…
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-3 years of experience in collections or accounts receivable, or other applicable related experience, is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and organization.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Outlook, Word, Access, etc.)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with customers and cross-functional teams.
- Physical requirements: Ability to sit, stand and walk for extended periods of time, must be able to regularly lift 15 pounds, work at a computer for extended periods of time and have manual dexterity for computer work.
- Long periods of concentration.
- Speaking, hearing and vision are also essentials to performing job functions.
