Job Description:
This position supports a global finance team and assists with all Accounts Receivable functions. The role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to plan, evaluate, and improve existing processes.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure accurate and timely posting of cash receipts for Afinitas’s North American operating entities
- Lead collection of aged receivables for assigned customers
- Maintain Sales Tax Exemption status across systems for customers
- Follow A/R policies and support long-term strategic plans.
- Improve A/R and collections procedures and processes in collaboration with leadership
- Provide backup support for collections and invoicing activities.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and accountability
- Identify and implement standardization and automation opportunities.
- Maintain a positive, professional attitude and deliver outstanding service for both internal and external stakeholders.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate’s degree in accounting or finance preferred

WORK ENVIRONMENT
This is an office position associated with a manufacturing facility. The employee must be able to correctly wear and use any Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required by the employer when in the manufacturing area.
