Accounts Payable Specialist
Role Overview:
As an Accounts Payable Specialist within the Global Business Services in Kraków, you will play a vital role in supporting business entities across the EMEA region. Reporting directly to the Accounts Payable Manager, you will be responsible for various key functions, including process payments, account management, supplier and internal stakeholder management, project support, and actively contributing to process improvement initiatives. This is a fixed term position for 12 months with the possibility of extending the contract.

Role Responsibilities:
- Review of payment proposals to ensure timely and accurate outgoing payments.
- Solve errors in a most efficient way together with Vendor Master Data team, Purchasing department or invoice processors.
- Manage out-of-cycle payments to maintain business.
- Prepare, understand, and review monthly account reconciliations.
- Be responsible for assigned legal entities, including vendor open items (VOI) and Goods Receipt No Invoice (GRNI).
- Perform follow ups to ensure timely closing of outstanding item continuity.
- Be extended support for suppliers & internal stakeholders on their issues and escalations.
- Participate in business-driven reoccurring meetings.
- Proactively reach out to stakeholders to initiate process improvements.
- Working together with invoice processors and helpdesk agents to identify gaps, decide on preventive solutions or simply remove barriers.
- Partner to ensure updated documentation is in place.
- Be a key AP team member for our Business Process Owner & Project Lead to provide expertise and drive success.
- Guarantee the compliance of our organizational regulations and contribute to internal or external SOX and Internal Audit controls.
Experience and Competencies:
What we are looking for:
- At least a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferably master.
- Minimum 2 years of accounts payable experience, preferably within a shared services environment.
- Excellent knowledge of English.
- Proficiency in SAP and advanced Excel.
- Strong communication, analytical, and teamwork skills.
- Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a drive for continuous improvement.
