Are you ready to lead a high-performing team while transforming how Accounts Payable operates across Australia and New Zealand?
We're looking for an experienced and people-focused Accounts Payable Manager to take ownership of our ANZ Accounts Payable function. This is more than a traditional AP leadership role. You'll have the opportunity to influence working capital outcomes, champion automation and process improvement, partner with senior stakeholders across the business, and lead teams both locally and offshore.
If you thrive on building great teams, solving complex challenges, driving efficiency, and making a meaningful impact on business performance, we'd love to hear from you.
What you'll be doing.

  • Create a customer-focused AP function that delivers outstanding service to suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement, automation and process transformation initiatives.
  • Strengthen governance, controls and compliance across the end-to-end procure-to-pay process.
  • Partner closely with Procurement, Finance, Shared Services and business leaders to improve outcomes across the organisation.
  • Lead initiatives that enhance working capital performance and support free cash flow objectives.
  • Act as the key escalation point for complex payment, supplier, travel and expense-related matters.
  • Deliver meaningful reporting and business insights that support operational and financial decision-making.
  • Support audits, reconciliations and financial compliance activities while maintaining best-practice controls.
  • Help shape the future of Accounts Payable by introducing smarter ways of working and leveraging new technologies.

What you'll need to be successful.
  • Proven experience leading Accounts Payable, Shared Services or Finance Operations teams.
  • A passion for coaching, developing and empowering people to do their best work.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence across multiple business functions.
  • Demonstrated success driving process improvement, transformation or automation initiatives.
  • Strong commercial thinking with an understanding of working capital, cash flow and financial controls.
  • Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP or similar enterprise platforms.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related discipline.
  • CA, CPA or equivalent professional qualification is highly regarded.

About the team .
You'll be part of our Finance team, reporting to the Financial Controller ANZ and leading a geographically diverse Accounts Payable function across Australia and New Zealand. Working closely with Procurement, Shared Services and Finance leaders, you'll play a key role in delivering operational excellence while helping shape the future of finance processes across the region.
