Excellium is seeking an experience Accounts Officer to join our team. This role will be instrumental in overseeing the financial operations of the company, ensuring financial accuracy, and providing strategic financial insights.
- Always
keep
records
of
creditors
for
management
information.
- Check
bank
reconciliation
and
updating
of
cashbooks.
- Must
be skillful in using Accounting
Software
- Monthly
payroll
processing
and
reconciliations.
- Maintaining
the
accurate
and
timely
processing
of
general
ledger
reconciliation
and
journal
entries.
- Ensuring
accurate
and
timely
accounting
reporting;
monthly,
quarterly,
and
year-end
close.
- Post
sales
and
purchase
invoices
to
ledgers.
- Receive
all
invoices
for
jobs
and
process
payments to
vendors.
- Post
journal
entries
to
Accounting
system.
- Manage
tax compliance and reporting(LIRS, WHT, VAT, PAYE &
FIRS).
- Assist
with month-end closing procedures and ensure timely
completion.
- Manage
petty cash and prepare regular
reconciliations.
- Conduct
financial analysis and reporting to support strategic
decision-making.
- Liaise
with external auditors during annual audits.
- Maintain
accurate and up-to-date accounting records in compliance
with Nigerian accounting standards
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations.

Skills Required
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or related course
- ATS Certification or ICAN/ACCA Certification started or completed
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Accounts Officer
- Proven understanding of accounting principles and practices
- In-depth knowledge and experience with Accounting software
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge of Nigerian tax compliance (LIRS, WHT, VAT, PAYE & FIRS)
- Must live around Magodo and Environs (on-site requirement)
- Must be willing to resume immediately

Excellium Pharmaceutical, Inc. is a U.S.-based pharmaceutical manufacturer operating an FDA‑approved, 53,000 sq. ft. oral solid development and manufacturing facility in Fairfield, NJ. The site holds DEA licenses for Schedule III–V controlled substances and functions as an in‑house oral solid development, manufacturing, warehousing and distribution center; the company holds ANDAs for multiple products and maintains a pipeline of additional candidates.
