Accounting, Treasury and Tax Manager

We are looking for a new colleague to join Finance Team in the role of Accounting, Treasury and Tax Manager, with permanent contract having the following responsibilities:

• Be responsible for all Company’s Accounting, Treasury & Tax operations (includes Invoicing to customers, Accounts payables cycle, payments, General ledger)  
• Coach, co-ordinate and manage Accounting, Treasury & Tax team, delegate upon needs, as appropriate 
• Participate in the preparation and timely submission of accurate financial & tax reporting and supporting schedules (responsibility of General Ledger, Controls, Tax schedules etc.) for Group purposes (according to AYVENS ARM and Global and local calendar).
• Have responsibility for all statutory reporting as requested by Romanian Law
• Facilitate and coordinate the monthly closing procedure in accounting
• Ensure the accuracy and on time submission of all company’s statutory and tax declarations 
• Perform and review general accounting activities, including Invoicing cycle, Accounts Payable, Payments, update and maintenance of general ledger, analytical ledgers, journal entries according to both, business and statutory requirements 
• Ensure all accounts reconciliations are performed on a regular basis, as instructed by the company
• Deal with all financial and tax audits including Fiscal Authorities inquiries, transfer pricing file 
• Participation in quarterly controls campaigns & prepare GPS controls assigned, focusing on accuracy and quality of controls performed  
• Main point of contact for external audits and involvement in internal audits 

Experience, competencies:

• University degree in Accounting or related area
• 5 years in Chief Accountant/Accounting Manager position, preferably in Multinational environment
• Strong knowledge of Romanian GAAP and IFRS
• Solid knowledge of MS Office package
• SUN Systems accounting system proficiency/prior experience will be considered a plus
• CECCAR Certification
• Very good level of English
• Strong management and leadership skills
• Very organized person, works well under pressure, committed to delivering good results in due time.
• Communicates and collaborates effectively with others.
