About the Challenge
Can you keep up with meticulous attention to detail on many different topics at the same time? Do you enjoy multitasking and would others describe you as always switched on, resilient, for whom no mountain is too high? Do you have a strong background in Finance and/or Accounting? If yes, roll up your sleeves because we have an interesting position for you!
As Accountant you will be responsible for running the accounting and financial activities of the company. Also, you will prepare reports such as balance sheets and income statements, provide insight on costs and revenue, and provide financial advice.
What a day at work for you will look like:
- You will perform comprehensive accounting activities to maintain a complete and accurate general ledger
- You will maintain balance sheet reconciliations
- You will assist Group Accounting Manager in facilitating the month-end closing process in an accurate and timely manner
- You will facilitate annual financial statement audit and provide accounting support to external auditors and tax personnel
Is this you?
- Initiative: When issues arise, able to demonstrate initiative and problem-solving skills to find solutions, and work with other team members to identify a way around the problem
- Eye for detail: Exercises extreme attention to detail. A thorough, accurate, organized, productive and sees the importance of speed while makes 0 mistakes
- Excellent time-management skills: Able to work on multiple projects at the same time, each with a different deadline
- Accounting Bachelor or higher degree
- Experience working with ERP (NetSuite is a plus)
- Knowledge in the interpretation and application of core accounting principles and practices with a strong understanding of accounting standards (IFRS is plus)
- Effective communication in English
- 3-4 years of experience as an accountant or auditor. Qualified accountant preferred
- Ability to work under pressure and demonstrated ability to gather and communicate data logically
