Job Description
Job Title: Accounting & Reporting Jr. Manager
Location: Indonesia, Jakarta
About the role:
- Provide Accounting and Operational support.
- Develop and maintain accounting principles and best practices to ensure accurate and timely financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with local and corporate statutory requirements.
How you will contribute:
- Provide leadership in accounting processes, journals, reporting, and analysis to ensure the company's financial health and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and review statutory financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses to support business decision-making.
- Handle Intercompany transactions, cross charged and reconciliation.
- Check and review for corporate tax computation and ensure tax return is submitted on time.
- Responsible for tax risk reporting which include corporate tax, withholding tax and value added tax.
- Ensure the transfer pricing transactions are complying to transfer pricing rules, liaise with Finance Controller who will collaborate with global transfer pricing team.
- In charge for master data maintenance and in collaboration with FP&A in updating cost centre and GL accounts.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Maintain and strengthen internal controls to ensure the company's assets and financial data are safeguarded.
- Involve in global projects such as Business Process Redesign and financial systems implementation.
- Manage relationships with external auditors and coordinate audit activities.
- Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop financial strategies and support the company's growth initiatives.
- Undertake any ad-hoc assignments as when required.
What you bring to Takeda:
- Bachelor of Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- Has good understanding in Indonesia Tax laws and/or have Tax Brevet
- Proven experience in accounting with a minimum of 4 years
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting and relevant regulatory requirements
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems
- Independent, able to work under pressure and committed to meet tight deadlines
- Good communication and interpersonal skills. English is a must to liaise with Takeda Business Services and/or Takeda Solution Portal located in above countries.
