Role Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. In this role, you will play a critical part in managing and analyzing financial data, preparing comprehensive reports, and maintaining accurate records of assets, liabilities, profits, and losses. You will contribute to tax compliance and other financial activities to support the organization’s operational and strategic goals. 

Responsibilities:

  • Actively participate in assigned accounting tasks and month-end closing processes under US-GAAP.

  • Perform month-end closings, general ledger account analysis, and balance sheet account reconciliations.

  • Execute bank payments, bank reconciliations, and petty cash management.

  • Prepare daily and monthly financial reports and assist the General Accounting team.

  • Ensure compliance with SOX controls and other regulatory requirements.

  • Manage accounts payable and receivable functions.

  • Prepare withholding tax (WHT) reports through the tax portal.

  • Engage with vendors and customers to address fixed asset-related issues.

  • Assist in resolving any issues that may impact timely month-end closings.

  • Contribute to process improvements and other ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • Confident user of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • Basic knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP) is advantageous.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing processes and priorities.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships across teams.

  • Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
