Accounting Specialist

Weekly and monthly Job Cost duties to include:

1. Updating percent completes
2. Weekly variance report processing
3. Preparing division labor sheets
4. Equipment entry and reporting
5. Excess inventory reporting
6. Project file imaging

Accounts Receivable jobs in progress reporting for management.

Working with Accounting Manager on month end related entries, workflows and budget preparation.

Preparing and analyzing reports for manager review.

Use and Excise Tax monthly filing.

Other Accounting duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Proficiency in or knowledge of using a variety of computer software applications, especially Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word software.
• Knowledge of office administration procedures.
• Ability to operate most standard office equipment.
• Proficient with accounting details and flow of general ledger entries.
• Attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing entries, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines.
• Good to excellent spelling, grammar and written communication skills.
• Excellent telephone and oral communication skills.
