QualificationsI. QUALIFICATIONS:
A. Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Business Administration degree from an accredited university. Minimum of five years’ experience in Accounting, Finance, or auditing operations, including preparation of financial statements. Commensurate professional experience may be substituted for part of degree requirement.
B. Proficient in Windows, Excel software applications. Ability to compile, analyze, and utilize integrated spreadsheets.
C. Knowledge of financial accounting systems (NetSuite).
D. Proficiency in General Ledger accounting. Demonstrated understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
E. Proficient in business communication. Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills.
F. Considerable skill in dealing with staff, vendors, contractors, variety of governmental and public employees and officials and the general public in sometimes difficult situations while maintaining courtesy and diplomacy.
G. Ability to work independently in a time sensitive environment. Demonstrated attention to detail.
H. Strong problem solving, analytical, communication, multitasking and computer skills.
II. RESPONSIBILITIES:
A. Cash Management and Assist CFO with Monthly Financial Preparation
B. Assist and help maintain viable Internal Controls within the organization
C. Controls the general ledger up to and through monthly financial statement preparation. Maintains custody of all General Journal entries and insures credible subsidiary entry into the General Ledger system.
D. Assist the CFO in preparation and coordination of Independent Audit engagement. Documentation and support for year-end reporting.
E. Cross train as support and manage in areas including accounts payable, accounts receivable, purchasing and payroll.
F. Oversee monthly financial close process and completion.
G. Perform difficult and responsible accounting and financial duties requiring independent judgment and
the ability to coordinate varied activities.

Lighthouse Behavioral Wellness Centers is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing behavioral health services to nine counties in southern Oklahoma, aiming to transform lives by cultivating hope and healing. They offer services to help minimize mental illness and substance abuse.
