A Day in the Life:
The Accounting Manager (Mobility) is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company’s mobility accounting function. This position ensures the integrity and compliance of accounting records while collaborating with management to design and optimize processes, systems, and controls that enhance efficiency, support strategic goals, and ensure the successful achievement of business objectives.
The starting salary for this role is $120k, commensurate with experience.
What You’ll Do:
- Assist in developing and implementing accounting policies, procedures, and controls specifically designed to support the company’s mobility business.
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes and financial reporting activities, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP, internal controls, and company policies while delivering accurate and timely financial results.
- Review and approve journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, account roll-forwards, variance analyses, and financial disclosures to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial reporting.
- Partner closely with Finance business leaders to monitor, analyze, and manage operating expenses, supporting effective budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial decision-making.
- Research, analyze, and resolve accounting issues, audit inquiries, and technical reporting matters, providing recommendations that strengthen controls and enhance process efficiency.
- Lead the preparation and coordination of annual audits and compliance activities, ensuring the timely completion of audit requirements and adherence to regulatory, accounting, and corporate standards.
What We’re Looking For:
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- Eight or more years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within a public company or complex corporate environment.
- Comprehensive knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SOX compliance requirements, and SEC reporting regulations.
- Proficiency with ERP and general ledger systems; Oracle Cloud experience strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise in accounting for intercompany transactions, purchase accruals, and complex liability accounts, including reconciliations, analysis, and financial reporting.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively partner with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.

Skills Required
