ABOUT THE POSITION
ResponsibilitiesThe Accounting Lead is responsible for overseeing accounting operations, financial reporting, compliance, statutory reporting, audits, tax coordination, internal controls, and team leadership while partnering with business stakeholders and Group Finance.
- Lead GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets and Intercompany accounting activities.
- Ensure timely month-end, quarter-end and year-end close.
- Review reconciliations and financial statements.
- Lead tax filings, audits and statutory reporting.
- Maintain strong internal controls and compliance.
- Drive process improvements, ERP optimization and automation.
- Lead and develop accounting team members.
- Support budgeting, forecasting and business partnering activities.
- Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
- Chief Accountant’s certificate is required
- CPA, ACCA, CA or equivalent preferred.
- Fluency in English (both oral and written) is required.
- 5-7 years of Chief accountant in multinational companies.
- Experience leading accounting teams and audit engagements.
- Strong IFRS/local GAAP knowledge and ERP experience.
Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Chief Accountant's certificate
- Fluency in English, oral and written
- 5-7 years of chief accountant experience in multinational companies
- Experience leading accounting teams and audit engagements
- Strong IFRS and local GAAP knowledge
- ERP experience
- CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent certification
