AB Facility Services is seeking a motivated Accounting Intern to support our Accounting & Finance team with basic accounting tasks, data entry, and administrative support while gaining hands-on experience in a professional business environment. This is a great opportunity for a college student looking to apply classroom knowledge and earn academic credit toward their degree.
Key Responsibilities
- Enter and maintain accounting and financial data accurately.
- Assist with invoice and payment data entry.
- Help organize and maintain accounting records and documents.
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks.
- Review data for accuracy and identify basic discrepancies
- Support the Accounting team with administrative tasks and special projects.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a college or university pursuing Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related degree.
- Eligible to receive college/university academic credit.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles preferred.
- Comfortable working with numbers and entering data accurately.
- Basic Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Reliable, willing to learn, and comfortable working as part of a team.
Academic Credit
This internship is intended for students seeking or eligible to receive academic credit through their college or university. The student will coordinate with their school regarding internship requirements.
