Brown & Brown is seeking Accounting & Finance Intern to join our growing team in Rye Brook, NY!
The Accounting and Finance Intern will provide administrative support to the office to promote a professional and courteous business and support the delivery of exceptional customer service.
How You Will Contribute:
- Assumes administrative roles involving duties and responsibilities of assigned department.
- Gains experience in assigned department through project completion and job shadowing.
- Participate in meetings, events and activities as assigned.
- Explores other areas of interest to include learning more about the facets of the company, both within and outside of the assigned department.
- Complete assigned internship projects to drive understanding of business operations.
- Gain familiarity with and follow agency guidelines, policies and procedures.
- Foster and seek relationships with teammates across all levels of Brown & Brown
- Promote teamwork within department and profit center through support, knowledge sharing and a positive attitude.
- Pursues a course of personal, professional development.
Skills & Experience to be Successful:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Enrolled or attending college or university (preferred)
- Proficient with MS Office Suite
- Proficient knowledge use of office equipment (including but not limited to copy machines, printers, faxes, binding machine, etc.)
- Exceptional telephone demeanor
- Ability to work in-office full time
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
Pay Range
$20 - $20 HourlyThe pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
