- This position is for a full-time, seasonal internship – 40 hours per week.

- Basic knowledge of general accounting practices and principles.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word and MS Outlook.
- Detail-oriented and able to complete work quickly while maintaining accuracy.
- Ability to perform data entry, including Accounts Payable invoices.
- Strong service orientation.
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Ability and desire to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to coordinate a variety of activities simultaneously and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
- Must be a Junior or Senior in college with a minimum of a 3.0 GPA.
Responsibilities
- Enter and code Accounts Payable invoices.
- Obtain proper and appropriate approval for Accounts Payable invoices.
- Assist in the Month End close procedures as assigned.
- Support monthly General Ledger reconciliation process.
- Support Bi-Weekly Payroll Process.
- Support preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
- Foster positive relationships with other Redwood Credit Union team members.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, sit, walk, twist, and turn.
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds.
- Ability to use a computer keyboard and calculator.
- Work environment is indoors; majority of the time is spent sitting at a desk.
