What you will do:
- Oversee daily finance operations and general bookkeeping to ensure accurate and timely records.
- Manage day-to-day accounts receivable and accounts payable activities.
- Assist the Finance Manager with bank reconciliations and month-end closing processes.
- Maintain compliance with local accounting standards and company policies.
- Maintain complete and organised accounting records locally, and coordinate with HQ to resolve accounting-related queries.
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports to management and HQ within required deadlines.
- Coordinate with tax agents for timely tax filing and compliance.
- Liaise with external auditors and prepare supporting schedules and documents required for audit purposes.
- Perform other ad-hoc duties and finance-related tasks as assigned.
What we seek:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Solid knowledge of local accounting standards and regulations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Comfortable working in a multicultural environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English.
